Our Abu Dhabi training centre is where theory meets practice. Designed from the ground up for automation training, the facility provides students with a professional learning environment equipped with the latest industrial hardware and software.
Location
The centre is located in Mohamed Bin Zayed City (ME-10), Abu Dhabi — deliberately close to the emirate's industrial heartland. Mussafah and the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) are a short drive away, putting the centre within reach of the steel, cable, fabrication and oilfield-services employers who hire our graduates.
The training centre is easily accessible by:
- Road from within Abu Dhabi — direct access via Mohamed Bin Zayed City with ample parking
- From Dubai and the Northern Emirates — around 90 minutes via the E11, or 75 minutes from Jebel Ali
- From Al Ain — approximately 90 minutes via the E22

PLC Programming Labs
Our main training labs feature individual workstations, each equipped with:
- Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLC systems with TIA Portal software
- Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix systems with Studio 5000
- Industrial I/O modules connected to physical process simulators
- HMI panels for interface design and testing
- Industrial networking equipment for protocol training
Each station replicates a real engineering workspace, ensuring students develop skills that transfer directly to industrial environments.
Process Simulation Rigs
Purpose-built training rigs simulate common industrial processes:
- Conveyor systems with sensors, motors, and pneumatic actuators
- Level and flow control loops with analogue instrumentation
- Batch processing sequences with recipe management
- Traffic light and car park barrier simulations for beginners
- Safety system demonstrations with emergency stops and interlocks
These rigs allow students to commission and test their programs on physical equipment, experiencing the same challenges they will encounter on real projects.
VR Training Zone
A dedicated area equipped with Meta Quest VR headsets provides immersive training experiences including:
- Virtual factory tours and industrial environment familiarisation
- Safety procedure training in simulated hazardous environments
- Commissioning simulations for complex systems
- Equipment identification and layout exercises
