Broader professional accreditations like CPD demonstrate structured development and travel between countries. No certification substitutes for demonstrable project experience.

Is a certificate enough to get hired?

How do you check a certification is genuine?
- Ask for the issuing body and a reference number, then verify with the body directly
- For UAE providers, ask which emirate's regulator licenses them and look them up on the public register
- Be wary of certificates with no verification route — job seekers here have been defrauded with worthless "required certifications"
