Which of these is the best bet for a new engineer?
Logistics and manufacturing, because they hire earlier and in volume, and the PLC skills are directly transferable. Process and nuclear work pays more but generally expects experience first. Renewables and data centres are the fastest-growing entry points and are less crowded than oil and gas.
